History & heritage
In 1984, on the bustling streets of Hyderabad, Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan founded Swagat Roadways with one delivery van and a principle — 'Service Before Self'. From transport, the group grew into convention and events, expanding from a single van into 200+ branches. From humble beginnings to a multi-division enterprise, Swagat stays true to its heritage: welcome, reliability and community spirit.

'Swagat' means 'welcome' in Hindi and Telugu — a bridge that welcomes guests, people and memories.
A core principle of Indian tradition: the guest is sacred. Hospitality, openness and inclusivity, expressed across divisions.
In rural and urban India alike, welcoming is transactional, emotional and spiritual — assurance of safety, respect and belonging.
One master brand, three division voices: a bridge that welcomes goods (Transport), people (Convention) and memories (Events).
